Pear Claridge Cocktail

The Claridge is a famous cocktail from the 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book. Here is a complex, powerful variation.

Pour all the ingredients into the bottom of the shaker, fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.

Strain into a pre-chilled Martini glass.

Garnish with a lemon twist and a fan of pear.
