PASTIS DES ALPES

Mauresque Maï Taï

Here is a strongly aniseed version of the famous tiki cocktail.

INGREDIENTS

20 ml Pastis des Alpes
20 ml Cuban white rum
20 ml Aged agricultural rum
20 ml 1883 Orgeat Syrup
20 ml Lime juice
2 dashes orange flower water

DIFFICULTY

Medium – 10 minutes

GLASS

Old fashioned glass

PREPARATION

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker.

Fill with ice and shake the mixture vigorously.

Strain into an old fashioned glass.

Top up with crushed ice.

Garnish with a mint sprig and flaked almonds.
