El Sandia Presidente
El Presidente was a hugely popular cocktail during Prohibition, paying tribute to Cuban president Gerardo Machado. Originally made with grenadine syrup, here is a fresh, delicate variation.
PREPARATION
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in all the ingredients.
Stir with a bar spoon, then strain into a pre-chilled Martini glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist and a slice of watermelon.
